Privacy Policy

The short version: what you share with us stays with us. Here's the longer version, in plain English.

What we collect

When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you type into it — typically your name, email, phone number, and whatever you tell us about what's going on. Some forms ask which insurance plan you have or who the appointment is for. We also record which page you submitted from and, if you arrived from an ad, which ad it was — so we can tell what's working and what's wasting money.

Like most websites, we also collect basic visit information: which pages were viewed, roughly where the visit came from (for example, a Google ad or a Facebook ad), and whether someone tapped the phone number. This is counted in aggregate — it's about patterns, not about you personally.

What we do with it

Form submissions go to our intake team so someone real can reach out to you — usually within one business day. They're also stored in our client management system so we can keep track of the conversation. That's it. We don't sell your information, rent it, or hand it to anyone who isn't involved in getting you scheduled.

Text messages

If you give us a phone number and check the consent box, we may text you about scheduling. That's the only reason we text — no marketing blasts, no "just checking in" campaigns. You can reply STOP at any time and the texts stop.

Advertising and tracking

We run ads on Google and Facebook, and those platforms place small bits of code (often called pixels or tags) on this site. They tell us things like "someone who clicked our ad ended up submitting the form." When you submit a form, we send those platforms a signal that a lead came in — but we don't send them the contents of your form. Your name, email, phone number, and message are never shared with Google or Meta by us.

Google may also swap the phone number shown on this site for a tracking number when you arrive from one of our ads, so we can tell which ads lead to calls. The call still reaches us exactly the same way.

What we don't do

We don't ask for detailed health information in our website forms, and we'd rather you didn't send it that way — the first real conversation is a better place for it. Anything you do share is treated carefully, and once you become a client, your care is protected under the confidentiality rules that apply to all therapy practices, including HIPAA.

How long we keep it

If you reach out and never become a client, we keep your inquiry only as long as we need to follow up and to understand how our outreach is working. If you become a client, your records are kept according to the retention rules that apply to health care providers in Wisconsin.

Your choices

Want to know what we have on you, correct something, or ask us to delete an inquiry? Email admin@shoresidetherapies.com or call (414) 441-1995 and we'll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. We won't make changes that weaken the protections described here without making it obvious.
